Graduate Program

The Sydney Buses graduate program offers a challenging and rewarding environment, creating opportunities to develop your skills and be a future leader of our organisation.

This two-year development program offers graduates a broad perspective of Sydney Buses activities, and develops staff into well-rounded professionals.

Operations Traineeship

State Transit is providing you with an opportunity to develop your skills and to have a structured career path through our Operations Traineeship Program.

In this two-year development program, Operations Trainees will undertake a series of structured rotations into various key operational positions.

Apprenticeships at Sydney Buses

State Transit runs an Apprenticeship Program, hiring and training mechanical staff to maintain Australia's largest fleet.  As a State Transit apprentice you undertake a four-year apprenticeship, during which time you gain valuable on-the-job experience at one of our busy depots, develop skills and knowledge both on-the-job and at TAFE; and attain a nationally recognised qualification upon successful completion.
