It is essential applicants complete all parts of the application form and attach a recent (within 2 months) RTA driving history and completed Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Declaration Form. Incomplete applications may result in an applicant being declined.
All written applications will be assessed against the following eligibility criteria:
- Is willing to work all shifts relevant to the position.
- Is an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Has recent and regular driving experience.
- Has held an Australian Unrestricted Driver’s licence for 12 months of the last 2 years (New Zealand Bus Drivers with equivalent Bus Driver Authority Card are exempt)
- Has a good RTA driving history (refer to the leaflet “Looking for a good job”).
- Has completed all parts of the application form as required.
In addition written applications can be competitively assessed using the following criteria:
- Relevant work or life experience.
- Stable work or life history.
- Locality to nominated depot/s.
