Mercedes-Benz O405NH
300 low-floor Mercedes-Benz O405NH buses were delivered to State Transit between 1999 and 2002.
The buses are powered by Compressed Natural Gas. They feature a stepless entry, wheelchair ramps, fabric seating, air-conditioning, and large electronic destination signs.
Several of the Mercedes-Benz 0405NH buses played an integral part during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, providing transport to athletes and officials within the Games Village at Homebush Bay.
