Apprenticeships at Sydney Buses
State Transit runs an Apprenticeship Program, hiring and training mechanical staff to maintain Australia's largest fleet. As a State Transit apprentice you undertake a four-year apprenticeship, during which time you gain valuable on-the-job experience at one of our busy depots, develop skills and knowledge both on-the-job and at TAFE; and attain a nationally recognised qualification upon successful completion.Find out more about the apprenticeship program.
