Title: Bus stop alteration - Liverpool Street near Elizabeth Street, Sydney
The Rail, Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) has raised a safety concern regarding the last bus stop in Liverpool Street near Elizabeth Street for all bus services turning right into Elizabeth Street. Services operating along Liverpool Street towards St James and Circular Quay will not use this stop until further notice.
State Transit together with the RTBU will undertake a full assessment of the bus stop later this afternoon (Monday, 3 August).
Services travelling towards Circular Quay
All bus services turning right into Elizabeth Street will be affected. For passengers travelling to Circular Quay from Elizabeth Street they should board or alight from services in Oxford Street or Elizabeth Street near Bathurst Street.
Services travelling to Railway Square
Routes 311 and 378 travelling to Railway Square will still use this stop and operate as normal.
State Transit apologises to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
