Lower North Shore & Northern Beaches
The bus network for the Lower North Shore and Northern Beaches is comprehensive although complex and we are proposing an update of services with changes designed to strengthen the network, and make it simple and easier to understand.
Changes include the redirection and withdrawal of some routes.
The proposed changes will benefit the local community with a bus network that will:
- deliver more direct services to Warringah Mall, Manly and Sydney;
- provide a peak hour link between Elanora Heights and Sydney CBD;
- provide increased service between Balmoral and Sydney CBD;
- improve link between Manly Hospital and Warringah Mall;
- simplify stopping patterns for express and limited stops services;
- improve the reliability of services;
- operate at reasonable frequencies; and
- be accessible to the majority of the community.
