Due to the Wallsend Winter Carnivale, Nelson St will be closed to all traffic from 5am to 6pm on Sunday 12 August.
During this event, Routes 224, 226, 230, 231 & 235 services will operate via the following diversion:
As normal to Cowper St then via Kokera St, Bunn St, Nelson St, Macquarie St, Kokera St and then as normal.
A temporary bus stop will be placed outside the Wallsend Library in Bunn Street during the diversion.
