M41 – Hurstville to Macquarie Park starts Sunday, 19 December

Metrobus M41 will commence on 19 December - connecting Hurstville, Bexley North, Campsie, Burwood, Concord, Ryde, North Ryde and Macquarie Park.

Metrobus M41 will deliver an extra 840 bus services a week, providing capacity for 46,000 passengers.

The Metrobus M41 will service businesses in Macquarie Park, take students to Macquarie University, provide a link to Concord Hospital, and run along the shopping and restaurant strips of Top Ryde, Hurstville, Campsie, Macquarie Centre, Concord and Burwood.

M41 services will run, on average, at 10-minute intervals during peak hours, every 15 minutes during the off-peak and every 20 minutes on weeknights and weekends.

Each bright red Metrobus is low-floor, air-conditioned and features the latest environmental controls to minimise greenhouse gas emissions.

Low-floor buses allow easy access for wheelchair users, less mobile passengers and parents with prams, and they are cleaner and greener, which benefits everybody.

An easy to follow route with bus stop names, on-board next stop displays and audio announcements will make travelling on Metrobus M41 an easy-to-use option.

M41 will be the ninth Metrobus to take to Sydney roads. A further four Metrobus routes will be rolled out across Sydney by mid-next year.

All up, the expanded 13-route Metrobus network will put 8,000 more bus services on the road each week.

Further details are available in the Metrobus M41 brochure.
