Route 501 - alteration to route in Jones Street Ultimo - from Sunday 17 June
Jones Street Ultimo will be permanently closed to traffic between Broadway and Thomas Street, from Sunday 17 June. This will require outbound Route 501 services to be rerouted in the Ultimo area.
Route 501 services travelling to Ryde/West Ryde will operate via Broadway and Wattle Street, before returning to Thomas Street. A new stop will be introduced in Thomas Street at Wattle Street, outside Building P of the Sydney Institute of TAFE. Please refer to the map for further details.
The bus stop in Jones Street at Broadway will be permanently closed, and customers should join Route 501 from the new Thomas Street stop. Additionally, Route 501 can be joined from Stand D at Railway Square.
Citybound services are not affected by this change.
