Available for use on the following transport modes:

Your ticket type (MyBus 1, 2 or 3) is determined by how many sections you must travel. Click here for more information on sections.

Single Trip Tickets:

  • The MyBus Single ticket is valid for travel for one journey only. Three ticket types are available for travel on regular government and private bus services (excluding Newcastle Buses and Premium Services).

Multi Trip Tickets:

  • The MyBus TravelTen ticket is valid for 10 trips. Three ticket types are available for travel on regular government and private bus services (excluding Newcastle Buses and Premium Services)

MyMulti Day Pass:

  • The MyMulti Day Pass provides unlimited train travel across entire CityRail network, unlimited government and private bus, unlimited government ferry travel and unlimited light rail travel within the greater Sydney metropolitan region - this includes Sydney, the Central Coast, Illawarra, Newcastle and Blue Mountains. MyMulti Day Pass tickets are available for Adult and Concession customers.

MyMulti Periodical tickets:

  • MyMulti Weekly tickets are available for Adult and Concession customers.
  • MyMulti monthly (28 day), quarterly (90 day) and yearly (365 day) tickets are available only from CityRail stations or line at Transport Info or CityRail. Concession tickets are not available.
  • All MyMulti tickets give you unlimited travel on public and private bus services and all government ferry services. Tickets must be must be validated in the Green Machine on Sydney Buses services or by the driver on board private bus services. For a map illustrating the MyMulti fare bands click here.

You must retain your ticket and have it available for inspection until the end of your journey.

If you plan to enter or exit at Domestic Airport or International Airport, you'll need to buy an additional Station Access Fee at the station.

 

 


Excursion Tickets

Pensioner Excursion:

  • The Pensioner Excursion Ticket (PET) provides eligible concession holders with an all-day ticket that provides unlimited travel on buses, trains and ferries within a broad area in NSW. Tickets are valid until 4am the following day.
  • The ticket can be used for travel on Sydney Buses, Private Buses in the Sydney Metropolitan, Wollongong/Illawarra, Blue Mountains/Lithgow, and Central Coast/Newcastle/Lower Hunter areas, Newcastle Buses and Ferries, CityRail services, T-Way, Sydney Ferries and Metro LightRail.

Family Funday Sunday:

  • The Family Funday Sunday ticket is great value for families travelling on Sundays.

MyMulti Day Pass:

  • The MyMulti Day Pass provides unlimited train travel across entire CityRail network, unlimited government and private bus, unlimited government ferry travel and unlimited light rail travel within the greater Sydney metropolitan region - this includes Sydney, the Central Coast, Illawarra, Newcastle and Blue Mountains. MyMulti Day Pass tickets are available for Adult and Concession customers.

  • Link tickets allow combined bus and train travel on one ticket from any station on the CityRail network to the world famous Bondi Beach or the Moore Park precinct. Link tickets can be purchased for a single or return journey and are valid for the day of issue only.
  • Ticket prices vary depending on the distance you travel by train. Use the CityRail fare calculator to calculate the train fare and then add the bus ticket price shown below.
  • Moore Park and Bondi Beach Link tickets are available from CityRail ticket offices or ticket vending machines. From the Ticket Vending Machine, simply select 'Moore Park' or Bondi Beach' as your destination.

Special Events

The Special Event bus ticket is a premium ticket for Event buses that operate during major sporting and music events at Moore Park or Randwick Racecourse.

  • Customers can only purchase return Special Event Bus tickets from a staff member on site at Central or Circular Quay during some events. 
  • Single Special Event Bus tickets are sold upon return, to customers without a ticket. (to Central or Circular Quay).
  • Regular tickets can be used on Special Event Buses to Moore Park and Randwick including MyBus, MyMulti, Family Funday Sunday and Pensioner Excursion tickets.
  • Please note that tickets are not sold on board the bus so customers will need to use a pre-purchased ticket to travel on these services.
  • For Moore Park events, customers who travel by train to Central first should purchase a Moore Park Link ticket instead.
