using '2 Zone TravelPass'
A Two-Zone TravelPass provides you with unlimited bus travel within and between adjacent bus zones in the Sydney metropolitan area (excluding Zone 1).
Weekly TravelPass tickets are activated on the first use and last for seven days. (They are active upon purchase from CityRail and Sydney Ferries outlets).
Quarterly and annual tickets start from the date you nominate.
- Quarterly provides 3 months of travel for the cost of 11 weekly tickets (15% discount off the weekly price)
- Annually provides 1 year of travel for the price of 40 weekly tickets (23% discount off the weekly price)
- Download a Quarterly or Yearly TravelPass application form.
Ideal use
A Two–zone TravelPass is ideal if you are a frequent and regular bus user that doesn’t need to travel into the city and only crosses into two zones.

- Save money – unlimited travel means the more you travel, the cheaper each trip becomes.
- One ticket for use on buses as required.
- Faster boarding times for you and everybody else.
- If a weekly ticket is purchased/used after 3pm, you get your seven days, plus the rest of that day, Free!
- The ability to purchase weekly TravelPass tickets in bulk from Sydney Buses’ TransitShops or resellers.

How to use a TravelPass?
TravelPass tickets need to be dipped into the green validating machines upon boarding the bus. The expiry date will print on the reverse side and the ticket is valid until 4am the morning after the expiry date.
Limitations
Two-Zone TravelPass cannot be used:
- in Zone 1
- on Sydney Explorer or Bondi Explorer buses
- on Sydney Buses Special Event Services
- on Private bus services.

Where to buy
There are over 800 ticket resellers across the Sydney Buses network, including more than 140 in the city.
Tickets are available from a variety of outlets including Australia Post outlets, Newsagents, 7-eleven and convenience stores. Tickets are also available from Sydney Buses' TransitShops, CityRail train stations and Sydney Ferries wharves. Find out where to buy tickets.
