Concession Tickets
The NSW government subsidises transport fares so that concessions are offered to eligible beneficiaries.
Concession beneficiaries include school students, tertiary students, apprentices, trainees, vision impaired and welfare recipients.
- Children up to their 4th birthday are entitled to travel free on all Government transport services.
- Children from the age of 4 to under 16 can purchase many tickets at a reduced price. Click here for more info on the Student School Transport Scheme
- Passengers must be in possession of their valid concession card when purchasing and travelling with a concession ticket.
