Family Fare Scheme
Family fares make it more affordable for families to get out and about on Sydney’s public transport system including train, bus and ferry services.
When one fare paying adult travels with their children or grandchildren, the first child travels for a child fare (half full adult fare) and all other children travel free.
This applies when travelling with valid tickets as shown in the table above.
There is also a Family Funday Sunday ticket.
