Family Fare Scheme
The Family Fare Scheme makes it more affordable for families to get out and about on Sydney’s public transport system including train, bus and ferry services.
When one fare-paying adult travels with their children or grandchildren (from the same, immediate family), the first child travels for a child fare (half the full adult fare) and all other children travel free.
This applies when travelling with valid Single, TravelTen, TravelPass, DayTripper, BusTripper or Pensioner Excursion tickets.
