Things to know about TravelPass tickets
- TravelPass tickets are valid for unlimited travel over weekly, quarterly or yearly periods.
- There are different TravelPass tickets available depending upon which zones you wish to travel in or which types of transport you wish to use.
- The more you use your TravelPass ticket, the more you save.
- Tickets become active when first used, except those purchased from CityRail and Sydney Ferries outlets which are active upon purchase.
- If the ticket is first activated after 3pm, the expiry date is the current date plus 7 days.
- TravelPass tickets are valid until 4am the morning after the expiry date.
TravelPass Types
TravelPass tickets are valid for unlimited travel within different zones around Sydney.
Separate zones exist for Sydney Buses, CityRail and Sydney Ferries services.
Use the zone maps to determine which zones you wish to travel in and then select the relevant ticket using the table below.

Limitations
- TravelPass tickets are not valid on Premium services, including Explorer buses, special sporting shuttles and Manly JetCats.
- Travel is permitted on Manly JetCats when the Manly Ferry is not operating (see Manly Ferry Timetable for relevant services).
- A station access fee applies for Mascot, Green Square, Domestic and International Airport train stations.
- TravelPass tickets are non transferable.
- Only Weekly TravelPass tickets are available at concession fares.
