Western Sydney Buses T80

The Liverpool–Parramatta Transitway (LPT) was the first dedicated link in Sydney’s T-way network, officially opened in February 2003. It is operated as Route T80 by Western Sydney Buses, a subsidiary of State Transit.

The 31-kilometre T-way connects the key regional centres of Liverpool and Parramatta, running through a mix of residential neighbourhoods, educational institutions, industrial zones in Wetherill Park and Smithfield, and commercial districts in Prairiewood and Bonnyrigg.

Service and Station Features

  • Daily Operation: Services run seven days a week, with high frequency from early morning until late evening.
  • Modern Infrastructure: The route includes 35 well-equipped stations featuring:
    • Comfortable seating
    • Lighting for safety and visibility
    • Digital display screens and audio announcements for real-time arrival and departure updates
    • Timetables and local area maps to assist with navigation and trip planning

Expanding the Network

The North-West Transitway, launched in 2007, further extended the T-way system. These services are operated by Hillsbus and Busways, supporting the broader goal of delivering fast, efficient, and reliable public transport across Western Sydney.
